HARRO RUIJSENAARS - cello
From 1977 - 1989 Harro Ruijsenaars was principal cellist of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, a position he relinquished to concentrate on his solo career and to take up professorships at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark, and the Music Department of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His repertoire includes more than 30 cello concertos.
